BEWARE! Hopefully this review will prevent some else from being ripped off!
We purchased $1,261 worth of trees and plants on April 9 of this year. Two of the trees we purchased "Sango Kaku" were not budded out yet. These 2 trees were $200 each. We have planted them before at our old house and they did beautifully. There were from a different nursery though.
I am not a beginning gardener (65 years old) and have used these same trees at different properties with wonderful results.
I called the nursery to tell them the trees looked dead and then sent them pictures. It took 3 days for them to get back to me to say there would be no refund or even an credit for 2 more trees at the nursery. So basically we are out $400......with 2 dead trees that took a lot of effort to plant.
The person I spoke to on the phone asked how the rest of the plants we purchased were doing and I told her the "Pacific Fire Maple" was doing beautifully as well as the rest of the boxwoods and grasses. I did tell her that all the Hosta plants were almost dead and this also did not trouble her.
Basically this Nursery stole from us and we will never use them again.
