We used the services for my daughter’s backyard wedding in Ephrata last weekend. Enchanting Events was tasked with the alterations of her wedding dress and also supplying the tables/ chairs. The dress was not properly altered. It was taken in at the zipper instead of the sides which caused problems with the zipper’s integrity. Nothing was evenly stitched. Ashley Meadows also took it in 3 times and it was still to large in the bust and had to be taken in by another seamstress (2”). The hem was uneven and had to be fixed. After the 2nd fitting no part of the bustle was attempted. My daughter ended up taking her dress 3 days before the wedding to have another person alter it. The tables and chairs were dirty. Extremely dirty! I would not recommend their services to anyone in the future. Thankfully a seamstress was located, but 3 days prior to the wedding it was more expensive than the dress to get the task completed. All of this caused an immense amount of stress. We scrubbed the chairs down to make them acceptable. Save yourself the trouble and go with another vendor.
