I’m happy with the ease of installation and the swiftness it took to complete the project. However, the disparity between what the ESP reps say versus the contractors is a huge huge piece to work on for future projects. I say this because the reps usually say the opposite of what the contractors do and you’re left playing tag asking either side what’s what. In this case, the contractor made more sense rather than the representative. To remedy this, I’d suggest maybe bridging a more thorough training on what the ESP reps should say to the customer rather than a guesstimate. It would ease the questions asked and make it smoother for both sides. Also, I rarely spoke to my representative in charge of my project. I had to call in and speak with someone else (which was frustrating at times) or the more optimal route was going through the contractor or the person that got me into solar (Collective Solar).
Overall, I’m excited and thankful for my panels. I really do think these are a huge game changer and needed in an expensive state in California. I don’t want to mislead anyone into thinking ESP is not great. THEY ARE! But just some tuneups will make them much much better.
