I have been training with Mo Cedillo since June 2024. She has been an amazing instructor and support during my fitness journey. I love the communication and support she gives to me as a client. Personally, I have been out of the gym for a year and needed someone to help me get back into the rhythm of things.
One of her strengths is knowing when to push a client and assessing their needs as they progress through their physical fitness. As a client, I appreciate Mo and value our personal training sessions! 🙌🏽 definitely recommend her to any new clients in the same situation or looking to improve their knowledge of exercise and training.
The cleanliness culture kinda sucks. People don’t really wipe stuff down or put anything back though so if you’re worried about diseases maybe bring your own wipes or wipe down before and after. There should be signs or something to teach people because it seems like lots of other members don’t know gym etiquette. Also I think there needs to be more lower weight dumbbells.
I appreciate that the bathrooms are always clean though!!!
Overall, okay for a dtla gym. There’s parking that’s always packed but people come out and leave a lot to it’s not always super hard to find a spot. It’s also big with lots of equipment and staff is nice (but they’re just kinda hanging around I feel like they could be putting equipment back)
EDIT: My last complaint is that they TURN THE FANS OFF ON THE WEEKENDS?!?! I starting coming on weekends to try and miss the weekday crowd and I found out they turn the fans off on the weekend and it’s so so so so hot in here. Like I don’t even wanna finish my workout.
I might cancel my membership and find a new gym tbh
Also it’s wild reading so many negative reviews and watching them be like “thanks for your positive feedback” they’re not even taking complaints into consideration.
