Great bedside manner, intelligent, and I really felt like he cared about me. I’ve seen a lot of doctors in my life in many cities, and Dr. Gamboa will remain one of my favorites.

Hi brother, James was terminally ill with liver cancer and he had seen Dr. Gamboa for about a year Dr. Gambo and never ever was able to pronounce his name right never took his mask off to show his face was Cold and unassuming when my brother had his visits. When my brother requested pain medication, he was told to take naproxen or ibuprofen because his liver was already shot. it wasn’t until he went on palliative care, and the palliative care team took over that my brother felt some hope and That someone cared. The palliative care team gave my brother the pain medication that he needed and the nausea medicine that he needed Also, after my brother had his paracentesis, they used a new procedure on him with A new suction Machine machine He Started feeling ill and throwing up was unable to keep anything down called the on-call physician just to get hung up on because his wife requested a different nausea medication that would work, As the ones that he had at home, we’re not working. In the meantime my brother became septic and ended up in the ICU. He passed away on Tuesday, he was probably going to pass away in a couple weeks. Nobody knows the way he was treated was not right. The website says that they are holistic, but they are not. They are very judgmental as far as physicians go the physician that was on call that day and hung up on my brothers wife Should’ve paid more attention as to what the symptoms that he was having. Perhaps he wouldn’t have ended up in the ICU and in so much pain and having to have all kinds of stuff done before he was laid at peace I would never recommend This group my brother did share with me that the radiology group and the nurse practitioner Gill were amazing and treated him very kindly and I am thankful for that. I’ve been a nurse in the emergency room for 27 years and I’ve never in my whole career encounter anybody being treated like that that had a terminal disease, I am just thankful that I was able to be there to advocate for him and his last hours
