Erika joined my class of 3rd and 4th graders via Google Meet for a special author's visit to read her book, Adalene Plays Many Ways. They were so excited to meet a REAL LIFE AUTHOR and get to ask her questions about her inspiration for the book, the publishing process, and other stories she enjoys. I loved how she shared about writing being a difficult subject for her as a kid, but she persevered and became a published author! My students who also don't enjoy writing were able to see themselves in her and know that they, too, can become successful with a bit of perseverance. It was such a treat and we are so thankful. Thank you, Erika, for creating a wonderful experience for my class and a great book! Highly recommend!
