Earnie wants $280 to program a new edge mustang GT key. I’m one mile up from him & he wanted to charge $200 for the program and key cut & $80 for literally 1 mile of driving. No competition means he can gouge off the locals. He is clearly trying to take advantage of the situation. I would pay $200 for the cut & program because it’s supply and demand; $80 for the mile is highway robbery. He knows you may not have any other way to get your car started, so he doesn’t care, you’re S.O.L with Earnie. Offered $250, still a no, I found my key 30 minutes later. That’s the same amount of time it would have taken him to perform the task. I applaud you for horrible business tactics Earnie; it saved me $280.

I prefer to support local businesses however this time was a big let down. I will give credit where credit is due and Ernie's answered promptly and was out to get my keys from my locked car in a very reasonable time frame I also think the price was reasonable as well. However when I payed him the $100 I gave him $180.00 I thought I handed him 5 $20's but the next morning when I woke up I realized I gave him 4 $20's and a hundred dollar bill. I called immediately and he said he did not have a hundred. I know what was in my wallet because I had just won the money.
