I could not be happier with the help my two children received/receives from Yi; Yi was the best choice of tutor for the two of them who are in different grades. We have tried other tutors in the past, some of them were good. But Yi surpasses them with how much he cares about his student’s success. He is deeply knowledgeable of the subjects, friendly, professional and he always makes sure he is available for questions. Yi worked with my 17-year-old on college essays. He gave great pointers and great editing skills. Overall, he had guided the college essay and admission process with a great outcome. Yi is currently preparing for my 16-year-old with PSAT and SAT. I see a positive difference. In addition, Yi has helped and educated me above and beyond of ongoing changes in the educational process throughout while my kids are in intermediate school, high school, and college. We are very fortunate to have found Yi. Yi is a first-rate tutor!

Our son had worked with several tutors with some success but it wasn’t until he began working with Yi that we saw distinct improvement in his ability to deal with long-term assignments while handling everything else. Yi helped him to implement existing organizational skills and showed him new methods to break assignments into manageable chunks. This broke a pattern of feeling overwhelmed and sticking his head in the sand until there was a crisis point. And that reduced stress for our son and for us! I also found Yi’s comprehensive but succinct reports really helpful. They detailed progress and provided an analysis of issues that still needed work. And you couldn't ask for a nicer guy — Yi is an incredibly caring and nurturing person and we always felt our son was in really good hands.
