I registered with Express and then contacted them about a job posted on their site. For context, it was an entry level admin position requiring a HS diploma and Excel knowledge. I have a Bachelor's degree, previous Excel certification and almost 20 years of professional experience in an office environment. She wouldn't even allow me to apply for the position. I told her I have the qualifications based on the job description and she said, "I understand that, but I know the hiring manager and you're not what she's looking for." What does that even mean? What type of people are they looking for if not qualified candidates? She didn't even make an effort to suggest other opportunities.

I have been working with Stephanie for a few months now looking to start a new adventure up here in Washington since I moved up from Oregon in the spring. We hit it off right away and she intuitively knew my niche and worked really hard to find the best fit for me...and just when I was about to give up, she found me a great opportunity with a local company that met all of my needs. I recommend you reach out to her and let her find you the best fit for you and your future. I hope to continue our friendship outside our professional relationship and challenge anyone to find someone more persevering and dedicated.
