Beware!!! Extra Space Storage uses a predatory bait and switch tactic—offering a low monthly rate and then after a few months hiking it way higher!!! They know you don’t want to go through the hassle of moving your stuff again so they can get away with it most of the time without losing customers! Make sure your contract guarantees no rate hikes for at least a year in writing before you sign!!!!!

I had a negative experience with the call center when seeking detailed information before signing up. It appears that the call center and the local office are operating under different directives, leading to me receiving conflicting information. During a confirmation call for my reservation, Breahna was very rude and dismissive. When I explained the information I had been given, she bluntly told me it was incorrect. I mentioned I would address the issue upon arrival, to which she rudely responded that I would have to see her first and then abruptly hung up on me. Such behavior is unacceptable in customer service. If Breahna does not enjoy her job, she should consider another profession. Despite these issues, the unit is nice and reasonably priced compared to other companies. However, the lack of lighting in the unit makes it difficult to access stored items.
