I like to go to different barbershops around the AV to see which one is best for me. The experience at Fades & Shaves was okay, but I felt unwelcomed.
I was initially asked if I was in the right place and if I had ever been here before. Now look, I'm a burly white dude but like.. don't drive away your customers. I'm just looking for a haircut.
The beard trim was perfect. Excellent work with the straight razor and a really sharp, clean look.
The haircut itself... not so much. He put in a fade (I didn't request it specifically), but it was uneven. I didn't notice until I got home and people started pointing out that my hair was much bigger on one side than the other.
Overall a merely okay experience.

Great barber shop, just be aware if you schedule an appointment ahead of time. The barbers are individually contracted and some of them don’t take your payment through google so your money would end up sitting in limbo until it’s canceled after downloading the barber app and creating an account for it to only potentially work. It’s better to pay in cash trust me. They have an ATM in the shop in case you need to make a withdrawal.

Im a regular customer here and I always walk out completely satisfied with my haircut. All the barbers are extremely professional and kind. This is the only place I feel comfortable to get a haircut. I don’t have a single complaint. 👍🏼
