I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Burlingame Fairfield Inn during a recent business trip. The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. It is impeccably clean and well-maintained, and the staff is truly exceptional. Natasha, who assisted me with check-in, was incredibly professional, friendly, and approachable – a real pleasure to interact with. The room was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully arranged.
One small improvement I would suggest is to have the windows cleaned, as they were a bit dirty. Nevertheless, this minor detail did not detract from the overall quality of my stay, which was nothing short of exceptional. If you are seeking a clean, quiet, and reasonably priced hotel to rest your head, I highly recommend the Burlingame Fairfield Inn. It truly is a top-notch establishment.
I've stayed in the hotel twice and had very different experiences each time. I stayed with my family with two kids and two adults with one child being under 2. The first time we stayed it was lovely. They brought us a crib all set up in the room, the TV was on with my name on it which was very welcoming and I said to the front desk it was nice to come into a room which was so warm with welcome. The front desk person was lovely and we used the pool and the laundry room with no issue. Normal room and night stay. The second time I stay it was a totally different story. The front desk was really nice as usual but that's where it stopped. They put us in a disabled room next to the elevator so we got the noise from people getting off and on late at night and early in the morning. The room was big but it's obvious it has not been well maintained. There were broken lights on the bed, the wardrobe door almost fell off and hurt my wife, the shower head was broken and would stay in place and the noise coming not only from the adjoining room but outside with the fraight trains was terrible. It was not a good experience at all. If any of us were disabled I would have asked to change to another room. The fridge was also set too cold and froze a lot of our food over night which was not good. There are a lot of great places to eat with Walmart also down the way. As mentioned the reception and people who work there are so lovely and always willing to help. I got a delivery there and it came on time and they got it for me. My honest opinion is that I will be asking Marriott for some type of compensation. The good is there are plenty of rooms. I'm also getting emails from "general managers" sent to me via their personal AOL email. Not very secure at all!!!
