This dentist and the hygienist are excellent. My family has seen this dentist for several years.
Unfortunately my family is transferring care because of the extremely rude and condescending front office person, Sharon. Both my husband and I have experienced her nasty behavior on multiple occasions. I see from online reviews that our experience is not a unique one.
I called this office to complain several times and relayed my disappointment to the dentist over his office staff's attitude in the past. Nothing changed.
I would like the dentist to know that his office staff are costing him business, especially Sharon. The other people are at least polite.
My husband arrived for his 7AM appointment today and the rude lady Sharon refused to check him in and then also threatened to charge him for a missed appointment, that she also claimed he did not have, while he was standing in the office! He spoke with someone directly on the phone last week to confirm his appointment. They tried to deny this phone call took place.
That person, a young woman, failed to "put this in the system" and all they could do was treat him in a very unprofessional manner and try to pass blame.
It is a shame that Dr. J cannot hire someone professional to work the front desk. The support staff can make or break a medical office. I should know, having been a nurse for 22 years and have worked in many similar environments.
