Was VERY disappointed today. I probably spend a little over $500 a year at Famous Footwear, d/t having 3 active, teenage boys. Never usually need assistance, I have shoes down to an art. However, I took my Dad this time because he has been having some balance issues, and needed better foot support. I asked a lady if she could have someone assist us with finding the right kind of shoe for my Dad, and she whispered "If you will just give us a moment..." she goes to the back, talks w/another lady, and comes back out. She says "If you could be very patient with us it will be a while, because we have someone in the store who always steals from us". At this point I got the feeling she was more concerned with the the potential thief, rather than helping us. I told her politely if they wanted us to go somewhere else, she said "you could try Marshalls next door", I then told her we always come here to buy our shoes, but if she didn't have time to help us we would try somewhere else. Again very disappointing! However, a big thanks to Marshalls for their excellent customer service and helping my Dad find the perfect shoes, and saved $20 dollars.

It's an absolute shame that some people are allowed to procreate. The woman who left the 1-star review was an entitled shrew with no sense of the greater picture. This store has, without fail, delivered in every aspect that one could expect from a shoe store. The employees are helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Don't let one moron's single negative experience be the only feedback this store receives.

I love shoes! Good BOGO sale, clearance section was pretty decent too! Need more flats, but nice to see one in Bonnie Lake! The sales lady was awesome and the young man who kept getting caught to carry my boxes to the front a huge Thank you.
