I’ve purchased 2 pairs of shoes here in a month. The sales lady with the tattoos is super friendly, very knowledgeable, and pretty awesome. She deserves a huge raise/promotion.
I’ll be coming back for more shoes and friendly service, for sure.
If I could give this place 0 starts I would, my friend went to this location and was denied the entrance, and the employee Yessica was very RUDE and unprofessional, it was clearly DISCRIMINATION and probably even RACISM. My friend offered her phone number so they could see that she’s a regular customer at this store and not someone trying to steal as they were implying. She was just out from work so we don’t know if it was because of her looks, but what happened was bad and we already sent this to corporate. This is bad, no one deserves such humiliation. Should talk to this employee named Yessica. Will never recommend this place that discriminates people by their looks.
I ordered online around 12 pm. The only reason I bought from this specific location was an online deal, buy one get one half off. I purchased the two shoes online. (honestly only chose these because of the deal). The order went through and everything was good. Said it was ready to be picked up in store.
Later in the day, I drove an hour to the location. Walked inside and was never greeted. Waited near counter nobody said a single thing. Eventually, I found an employee and inquired about my online order. They walked me to the counter.
At the counter, they handed me one of two pairs. As I was trying them on, I asked about the second pair. As soon as I asked, I received an email stating that the second pair was not in stock. The associate told me simply, "we couldn't find them. "....
I inquired about a refund and was told the second pair would be refunded. They have no idea when. I ask about a cash refund for both pairs, and they can't do this. I ask about swapping shoes, they can't do that. They can't do anything for me besides sell me the one pair. The only reason I got this shoe was because of the deal.
The associate challenges my knowledge of the sale. They imply that the deal was not legit in the first place because and I quote, "Nike doesn't do buy one get one %50 off deals." This stumped me. How did I purchase them online then? Why were both pairs marked as in stock? Why did I receive an email stating as much? Why did they not send an email about the missing pair until I was in store?
I simply canceled the order in store. Asked for a refund on the card. Super cool that I now have more than $100 in limbo. The associate was very rude. Non responsive and very cold.
I went down the sidewalk to a competitor (think striped shirts). I bought a single nice pair I had been wanting for less than Famous Footwear offered me.
Famous footwear will never receive my business again.
