Save your time and money and just go elsewhere!!!! These ladies were so rude and mean to me!Yelling in their language and being rough with my hair after I told them! And the cash only policy is weird and inconvenient. And on top of it all braids still feel too tight. DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE! ITS A SHAME WHEN YOU JUST TRY AND SUPPORT BLACK BUSINESSES AND GET TREATED THIS WAY! AND i was way overcharged! response to ownerYou DID NOT try your best to accomodate me you were RUDE and MEAN and don't know how to TREAT people that are literally PAYING YOU MONEY to have services done! I will report you to the better business bureau and take any legal steps I can tonhave you accreditation taken away. I will keep telling people not to come here. You should be ASHAMED! And then my friend tells me after all of that that they are uneven and differnt sizes in the back as well!!! (See photo) 😱 This is why they ask for cash because it's harder to issue a refund to the customers! You should just be glad I didnt call the police! Lol

We did a lot of research to find the best place for our daughter’s first braids. Fanta had amazing reviews and we were not disappointed. First braids are a rite of passage. Our 6 year old was surrounded by a swarm of warm, friendly, chatting, laughing women. Clients and friends came and went when we were there- all giving hugs and kisses. Some of the braiders kids came by. It felt like a community hub. My daughter picked a pink and blue and a style fitting a 6 year old: lemonade braids swept to the side. Her braider did not speak much English, but my daughter absolutely loved her and said she was so so kind. She gave her a kiss on the cheek at the end, and all of the stylists wished her well on the way out. It was fantastic experience and I highly recommend Fanta. PS - she must have been gentle because she didn't cry.
