Bought the wrong sized snow chains thinking I needed them for the front, but actually needed them for the rear. The owner was kind enough to exchange them for the right size since I hadn’t driven on them. While these chains seem difficult to the novice they are actually very easy to use after one trial run (daylight helps) and were a lifesaver getting down the mountain. Glad to have these future trips.

Been going here since I was a little kid. Mike has cleaned the store up a lot from when Doris owned it.... Sharon and Laurie are great employees. Always friendly. Yeah, it's a crowded little store, he stocks a lot of stuff so you can avoid driving 8 miles around the other side of the lake to get something.

I absolutely love this store - whenever we go up to the cabin we go often. They have absolutely everything from cat food to mosquito repellent to dairy, fishing gear, clothes, and so on. Of course not overly cheap, but for not being a chain store the prices are very reasonable, and you support a local business. The service is super friendly, and much information about the area is added. Great little spot!
