I too, like others, are experiencing weather delays. I understand this, and while I cant fault a company due to this, my review is focused on the company's handling of it (though the delay is taking exceedingly long).
After passing my ETA date, my package sat not updating. After chatting online with Fedex (which took about 20 minutes), they said that my package was delayed due to weather, and that planes couldn't take off. My package, however, was ground. The agent then admitted that she pasted the wrong info because they're chatting with more than one customer at once. She then offered no real answer to my question.
Frustratingly, my package may be in Redmond, but because they haven't sorted them, I'm unable to pick it up. This is ridiculous because it would save both myself and them if I could pick it up, which is something both UPS and USPS do. I'm stuck waiting another 5 days for my package, most likely through the weekend.
Thus, its primarily the way the company is handling this situation which is why I give them a low rating. FedEx use to be the company to use when shipping important items with deadlines, and sadly this is not the case any longer. Would not recommend.
