Went in for passport photos and caught Jamie in a very brief exchange with her supervisor about standards for certain work tasks. I got the impression that this might have slightly annoyed her and reflected in her patience with me as a customer right afterwards.
After this interaction, her supervisor greeted me and let me know that Jamie could take my photos. He was pleasant but she seemed a bit short, so I was kind of bummed since I was at that point wanting him to take my photo.
I guess the main point of this review is that Jaimie really could have cared less, and while yes, I’m sure taking people’s passport photos is oftentimes not a very pleasant task, it would have been nice to be slightly more understanding that most people are likely going to care that their passport photo for the next 10 years be decent. Even with the store empty, I could sense her annoyance when I asked to try again. Photo taking probably took no more than a minute.
I’m a very patient and laidback person, and while I think the quick feedback from her supervisor probably didn’t help Jaime’s interaction with me, that’s not to say that she is likely always unpleasant to work with on other store services besides head shots. Just my experience for the day. The photo that she did print for me is just slightly off of the grid requirements and while 17 bucks isn’t going to break the budget, it is slightly annoying to not be happy with it. Though at the end of the day I guess it is my face on the photo! Probably won’t be going back to this location, regardless. Cheers.
