We went before going to hole in the wall and I am so glad we did. It gave us a greater appreciation for the local marine life that we later saw in the wild. It is a small center, but that means you can get some one on one time with the staff and ask questions. I learned more in half an hour here than many aquarium visits. Definitely worth a stop as the entrance fee is minimal and they are worth supporting.

This was a unique excursion into a quaint, yet informative little marine center. Being a novice to anything ocean related, I enjoyed this very much. It was fun to touch the sea urchins, sea cucumbers and the starfish. As I walked along, one of the workers stayed close by and readily answered my many inquiries. If she was busy with other visitors, there is ample info all over to read and learn. It is very small, but had a ton to read, see, and discover. Bummer that the octopus was in hiding. I’m not sure I would have liked it if more people were there at the same time because it wold be a little claustrophobic and less likely to be able to utilize the touch tank. Try to go when it’s slow, but definitely go! It’s well worth the $5 entry.

My 4 year old grandson enjoyed the sand table with toys and looking at the tanks with sea life.
They need lighting on the tanks and the glass cleaned as it is difficult to see things in a few tanks.
Small informative center with friendly staff. Beautiful murals painted outside on the walls of the building.
Nice murals inside too.
Great viewing tower on the dock.
