I used them for a portion of our fire damaged rebuild. Within a couple months we had multiple issues with the system. After additional service calls we had our monitoring company (ADT) come in and fix the issue. They advised the problem was caused by the installer last time they tried to fix it (which was Fire Systems West). The labor was covered by ADT but a bill remained for the rental equipment that was required (the ceiling is nearly 25 feet up). We asked Fire Systems West to help with it and they basically said we were at fault. Poor level of ownership, no customer service skills and when I asked for a supervisor, the person I worked with says "that's me" - (the Electrical Service person from the website). I went to their website and sent multiple emails to other people. Note that the "contact us" email form link theu use comes back as "undeliverable"...always a good sign. I emailed the Vice President at the company to explain my perspective (twice). No reply, no response and unfortunately, it appears to be what you would expect based on the interaction I had with my rep...or according to him, the highest supervisor you can contact.
While there aren't a lot of these companies locally, this experience was an example of why new businesses start up...At the end of the day, good service is hard to come by. All I can do is share my experience with others and make sure when we move our building next year (we have over 100 employees and need a complete build out), that I do not use these guys.
