The Calamari dish was great. Sand dab was tasty but small and, hence, overpriced. They charged us for the garlic bread that we didn't order, lucky we noticed. All in all, nice view, decent food and service but nothing to call home about.

For $28.00, this fantastic dish is named after the restaurant itself: “Firefish Grill.” There are skewered and grilled shrimp, scallops, salmon, fresh fish, bell pepper and onion. Served with rice pilaf.

For dessert they suggested “Ice Cream Sunday,” which was not on the menu. Good decision, it was delicious and only cost $6.00.

The only drawback was the price of Coca-Cola Zero, close to the price of dessert. Other than that, everything was great!

The waitress was very friendly, fast and respectful when serving. Thank you Amara!

The sea views are wonderful. The place is bright, pleasant and quiet.

Next time I'm in Santa Cruz, I'll definitely make a stop at Firefish Grill!

It's an amazing place to get fresh seafood. I got the salmon, and it was by far the best I've ever had! I also had the lobster tail, and that was also pretty incredible. Also, don't skip on the crab cakes. Those are amazing as well! The service, on the other hand, wasn't the best. They forgot our crab cakes when that was the first thing we had ordered, and it wasn't until we already got our main dishes before we realized they hadn't even made it, and we had to request them to bring us one even after they realized they forgot it. They also messed up the salad, and we had to send it back for a new one.
