The taste is at par with average sushi place if not better. The price is a great deal for what you get. The fish portion is good compared to the rice, not too little.
It doesn’t taste as well after being refrigerated but that’s expected for any sushi.
Would recommend and will come back if in the area.
I love this place! I had no idea a restaurant with buffet of sushi was in Seattle! I love all the options they have! And they change up the sushi so not all of the them are the same every day! If you want to stock up on the “good” sushi make sure to save room for the nigiri at the end. But to be honest, I don’t mind the saucy rolls they have at the beginning. They are very tasty too.
Price: You pay by the pound ($14.99/lb), not per sushi piece, which is really nice. There’s containers at the beginning of the line and you fill it up with sushi as you go down the table. 1 container for me was ~1 lb so it ended up being ~$14.99 before tax and ~$16 after tax.
Waiting in line: I went twice. Once on a weekday evening and once during a weekday lunch. The weekday evening didn’t have a line, but the weekday lunch had a line out of the door. It wasn’t too bad to wait though. The line moved steadily so it didn’t ever feel like we were at a standstill waiting.
Restaurant: The interior of the restaurant is clean and modern. They have condiments and utensils on a table off to the side. There is bar seating inside the restaurant and one outdoor table.
Service: The service was good. Once you get to the register to pay they move pretty fast.
