What is a decent price and a great atmosphere. And I always seem to have what I want... Five stars

This store demanded that I turn in my backpack in order to enter the store. I asked the Security Guard why, and he told me it is company policy. I turned around and left. It is my Shopper's Policy to not turn in my pack but allow you to inspect it when I leave. If you cannot extend to me the benefit of the doubt, there is something wrong. Trust goes both ways: if you don't trust me, why should I trust you? If you have that much thieving going on that you assume everyone coming in is a shoplifter, then clearly my backpack wouldn't be safe with you either. I witnessed the security guard leave his post to hound some old man pushing his own personal shopping cart, so who would have been watching my back pack? I have never been told to check my backpack at Costco, Trader Joe's, Safeway, Lucky, or Target, and that's why they continue to get my business.
