Showed up one day after ~4 or 5 visits and security said I was banned for handing off product in the parking lot? I understand my word vs theirs but I have no idea where the allegation came from and management wouldn’t work with me to understand why. Loved this place but be careful with their security as it seems they’re lacking attention to detail and driving business away. If you're like me and remember when this stuff was actually illegal, then find another shop cause they don't have reservations about treating customers like criminals.
Edit: I did contact management after the incident at the store’s phone number but the manager said verbatim that she didn’t have any interest in helping me and to find another shop
Not a bad looking Black Friday sale on the surface that they have going through the week. But I am a creature of habit and I couldn't help but notice all of my brands went from say, $40 to $44 or $27 to $30. Kinda odd for that price hike to happen the same week of these supposed "super sales"
Tactics like this leave a bad taste in the consumers mouth. Posted some proof here for those interested.
Literally make these purchases every week so these aren't from forever ago or anything. Not to mention the brands provided in the photo aren't even related so trying to blame this convenient price hike on a particular grower isn't even an excuse.
Very clear the whole store had a price hike to make people think they are getting an extra bargain when in reality nothing has changed and the owners make the same amount of profit they had previously.
You can't even really trust any positive reviews you see, as they offer discounts/points for a positive post, you need only go and show them proof you posted.
Gross tactics.
UPDATE 12/10/23: In response to the owners reply, let us break down the math.
Before the price hike, using the Fifty Fold 3.5g jar as an example, you paid $40. Using the best weekly day sale at the time, you could get 25% that price, resulting in you paying $30 for that jar.
Now, it is true during specifically the 40% Black Friday sale only on that Friday you are FINALLY getting a discount and paying a price lower than BEFORE the price hike. HOWEVER....
40% sale is gone, the price hike is not. Even with the "Upgraded" weekly sale revamp, using the best scenario, a 30% discount on the PRICE HIKED $44 Fifty Fold 3.5g, you now pay $30.80, of course they round up, so you actually pay $31.
But that is only if you get in on the perfect sale day, which has all been rearranged, so now the day you used to be able to go in for a discount on your product might not even apply! The result? You just plain pay for the price hike!
But lets get into the REAL BIG ISSUE. Why, in a store full of product that SLOWLY EXPIRES while exposed to all the lights, would for some reason, one day, the whole stores product suddenly INCREASE in value? That is awfully bizarre.
Flower and oil that has been in the store for weeks and months, suddenly got a price hike? It wasn't new product that arrived. They just increased the price on everything in the store.
The result? Sure, for Black Friday you might have saved LITERALLY only an additional dollar than normal, but now, weekly, you are paying a dollar more for product((IF you get in on the PERFECT sale day)). That isn't an improvement for anyone but the owners profit margins.
It might have made sense if as new product arrived you started to increase the price on each brand as it arrived. But sorry, suddenly thinking all your aged product is worth an increase in price? Overnight? Laughable.
Nice try though. It was fun breaking down your response to show just how badly you are trying to milk the community that just wants their medicine. Plain disgusting you try and defend your profit margins and gaslight your consumers into thinking you increased your savings when in reality you are Nickle and diming people.
Truly a joke of a display for the industry.
Customer service sucks here not a fan of the bud tenders at this location at all plus they been tryna sell the same old product that’s sat in there store all year at least lol. They hardly even have what’s listed on their menu online either.
EDIT: you gotta be joking right! lol the selection is complete garbage the only things in there are stuff no one’s bought that they try and push on us for months on end it feels like. Hardly any new stuff. Lacking product from the brands they supposedly carry and stock all the time. Prices have gone up since I started coming there. Maybe if your a pre roll or cart person you could find something lol. Other than that I look forward to zips coming to Olympia and taking over. They can actually keep a good selection and have better deals/ tenders as well. Tired of the dry plain forbidden cannabis club selection . I’m sure the real smokers are tired of it to. As a customer since this spot opened I’ve just seen it go downhill each year. Can’t count on this shop to stock good meds. What a professional response to a 2+ year loyal customer yeah I’ll be taking my buisness else where and letting all my friends and co workers know to. Clearly this place don’t appreciate there customers.
