Wonderful museum. Full of books and artifacts. The people there will gladly give a tour and guide you around any specific topics you may be interested in. If you enter the women's bathroom, you will find a suprise guest in the bath tub. XD Picked up several books (and a few comics) and checked out the "Clay Babies" display. These rare calcite concretions can only be found at the top of the island around the spit. It is illegal to take them from the spit or the private beaches without permission. Please respect a Pack it In - Pack it Out Policy and leave the area the way you found it. They are also trying to seed the beach with oysters and clams, please do not disturb these creatures and do not disturb the kelp lying around. The crabs and other creatures use it for protection. The cabin was locked, but we had a nice look from the outside. Great location for quick stop with great hosts. Will recommend to others.
