I've been to this facility twice now for prenatal ultrasounds, the front desk staff was quite friendly and I had an uncomplicated check-in on both occasions.
However, I'm sad to comment that the "bedside manner" I received from the techs and doctors was fairly unpleasant. I am quite tall, and was actually too tall to fit comfortably in the chair they had me on when they did my first ultrasound, I kept adjusting to relieve the strain being put on my back from my legs hanging off the edge.. my height as well as being 8+mo pregnant didn't seem to matter though and both the nurses and doctors I spoke with made unnecessary comments about my weight, I came here for a fetal anatomy scan not to have a doctor who is not in chrage of my primary care sit down and question me about just how I was able to pass my GD test, then mentioning to the nurse nearby that "Wow, I must have been seriously managing my diet!" I was so taken aback that I went ahead and agreed with them at the time, but once my husband pointed put how cruel that was later, I realized I wish I told them the truth- I've been eating whatever carbs and sugar I want, whenever I want. I passed my GD with room to spare, and did not fast before it. I have only gained "baby" weight all the way through my pregnancy and feel good as someone on the tail end of their 3rd trimester possibly could. I know this is a classic issue with people that fall high on the BMI scale but it's the first time it's ever genuinely affected a medical experience I've had. Otherwise, their procedure was quite rushed both times despite the waiting room being empty and to top things off even though we got some good face and hand photos they gave me ones of the baby's organs instead, not quite the turn out I was expecting. I feel other people should have the chance to hear about it before deciding if they'd like to receive care from this facility. I would also recommend St. Michael's in Silverdale, it's a couple more minutes away, but the staff is much more friendly and were really good at attending to any questions me and my husband had during my visit to their radiology dept.
