The sketchiest store in all of Tacoma, possibly the whole state. Tons of drug addicts around the outside of the store. Shanty town on the back road of the store. Open drug use in parking lots and surrounding areas. 0/10 recommendation. Do not bring your kids here.

Went to this Fred Meyer location around 4pm on Sept. 10, 2024. Saw around 10-15 hard drug addicts all hanging on one side of the store in the parking lot. Some were in 2 or 3 different vehicles literally smoking meth & or fentanyl from a glass pipe. It was SO obvious. There were even a couple at the corner of the store entrance, crouched down, passing a pipe back & forth. I heard "You want some of this?", as I walked by. (One talking to another.) Said something to one of the employees at the entrance & she basically just rolled her eyes & said "Thank you", doing absolutely nothing about it. Who would want to go into that store, when they just allow junkies & homeless junkies to take over the parking lot, to use, sell & be on meth, heroin, fentanyl or whatever it is??? I don't quite understand WHY we as a society, are doing nothing to put a stop to this open air drug market, all over the Puget Sound. They're everywhere out in public & at the busiest places & times of day & night, yet these businesses do nothing to stop it.

This is without a doubt the worst Fred meyer I have ever been to. There are drug addicts all over the lot drugged out like zombies just falling over themselves begging for anything, blocking the exits, it smells like a port a potty out there. Y'all need to clean this place up that was terrible
I just went through all the other reviews it looks like the owner doesn't care at all . No response to any of you here in the reviews talking about how nasty/ trashy this location is and I see these comments go back years on the same topics. Maybe we need to see something else open in this location the owner of this lacks credibility and responsibility
