Worst customer service! I was at the outdoor flower section of the store on May 21, 2024 from 12:15pm to 1pm in Bellevue, WA. There were only two staff persons there. I was looking for heliotrope and had spent some time looking and just wanted to know if the store had it; otherwise I was not going to waste my time. The cashier was ringing a customer's items. I decided to approach a white lady staff because she had a tablet and was at one of the aisles, checking inventories. The white lady's reply was, "I don't know. I am just filling out orders here. I would have to walk through every aisle to see." To me, she seemed to imply that I should just walk through every aisle myself because she obviously was not competent enough to work there because she didn't even bother to check the store system to see if they had a certain type of flowers in the inventory, or maybe check the tablet she had on hand to maybe do her job properly? I mean, what kind of customer service is this? She was rude! I spent another half an hour trying to find heliotrope in the store...and there were no one available to help, or wanted to offer help even when she was obviously standing there and checking inventories on her tablet.

Great remodel on this Fred Meyer in Overlake. Heard that they spent between 40 and 50 million on it and it shows it looks great! Huge building and they pretty much have everything and anything you could want here. There's a nice Starbucks inside with a seating area. They also redid the meat department the seafood department and the bakery department, looks a hundred percent better and much more variety. They also have a new wine and cheese Department that looks impressive. They also have all the usual things they have at a Fred Meyer, Garden Center, entertainment and electronics, Hardware paint department, jewelry department, clothing and shoes, housewares and of course groceries. If you want a One-Stop shopping center with good prices this is a good choice.

Absolutely disgusted by the fact that, in today's economy, the only ice trays available are these ridiculous designer non stick ice trays for $10.99 a piece! This is the kind of brilliant corporate decision making that is going to eventually kill Fred Meyer. It's become a store full of frivolous seasonal garbage and overpriced knock off designer goods. The basic products that helped build this stores character and reputation are no longer available. I just wish they would hurry up and close, giving another company the opportunity to move in and do a better job!
