I enjoy going to Fred Myers because it’s a one stop shop kind of place with competitive pricing. The things that I don’t like, isn’t necessarily their fault. I don’t like the amount of shoplifting I see going down, but I wouldn’t have noticed it happening if their security staff was trained to not be so obvious when they are watching a suspected shoplifter.

Decent stores, good value. Unfortunately, at the Bakerview Fred Meyer in Bellingham there seems to be a huge increase in drug trafficking and pan handling. It's to the point I won't be shopping there any longer. Literally, the last 4 times I've gone, I witnessed people buying and selling drugs in the parking lot, both immediately in front of the entrances, and the west side parking lot. The last 2 times I had to walk by the people to get to my car! This past Saturday was the final straw. AFTER having to walk by 3 women buying and selling drugs in order to reach my car, I witnessed a male pan handler peeing in the bushes by the sidewalk, as I was waiting to turn right from the parking lot into Bakerview. Fred Meyers, you can do better.

One of the positive things about Fred Meyer is that if you shop there you can save money on your gas --like today I saved $0.50 per gallon. The only downside to Fred Meyer is that their household products are overly priced. All in all it is a great One-Stop store to get clothing and food and household necessities.
