Like Ehlers’ comments, I was very disappointed after ordering a “bubble tea”. I picked up my order, checked it out and seeing no sightings of boba or additions of any sort, I held it up and asked the crew “Is this a bubble tea?” and they promptly replied “Yes”. Five minutes later I drank it and it was a simple smoothie with nothing fun inside. I was confused because they provided me with a bubble tea fat straw just to drink a regular smoothie. I then had to continue this debate with my friends and they too believe I was duped. Google (see attached photo) would end this debate for us at a beautiful picture of a bubbled-up drink (that’s also not a thick smoothie like I received).
Moral of the Fresh Rolls story: If you’re considering ordering a “bubble tea”, double check on ordering and before you leave that you get your add-ins.
Ordered takeout online for pick up yesterday after seeing an influencer post a reel on this place and I was thoroughly disappointed. We ordered a chicken rice noodle salad, a lemongrass beef rice bowl, 3 chicken banh mis, and a fresh shrimp roll. The shrimp roll was boring...literally 4 skinny shrimps in a roll with noodles and lettuce. For $7.99 for 2 rolls, I expected more.
The banh mis were dry...all bread, barely any meat and veggies. The bread was yummy though, I'll give them that.
The beef bowl was ok... nothing special to write home about, and the chicken rice noodle salad was ok too. It would've been better if it had some sambal/chili sauce to go with it.
All in all, after spending $74 for all of that, I expected more. Will not be returning.
