Well how to start. This is a wonderful campground you will be sure to enjoy. To start, Mark and Connie make the trip in itself worth it. We have been camping there for three years, and never a problem that hasn't been handled immediately. We love camping there due to its proximity to home, so we can camp and work. With Mark and Connie in place, I have seen significant improvements to the park.|||| You will be taken aback when you first enter, but as you get closer to the creek you will be amazed.||||Every site is now nearly perfect level, due to the gravel put in this past season. You will have no trouble whatsoever leveling your site. New power boxes, new water pipes as well. Always we are informed of the happenings at the top resort. No parties and people getting nuts after 11 pm is a giant plus. ||||We have five kids, and never have I heard, " i'm bored" there are trails to be explored, and trails to be made. The creek is wonderful to cool off in. Lots of nature to explore with plenty of old growth trees, remnants of a previous park, and a few bridges and a water tower hiding in the woods. If you feel adventurous and are in for a challenging hike, cross the creek, climb the hill, and you will be in the park what I call " up top "||||Now, this next bit will be directed to issues beyond the camp hosts control. ||||With our mild winters, this camp should be open year round. The neighboring camp behind the casino is, so I can't understand why this one closes. There is plenty to do year round, and with 27 sites clearly very manageable. ||||This site from a thousand trails aspect isn't treated as such, treated more as a overflow facility. This should really be looked into, based on just myself I personally know of at least 8 people whom have bought trailers, and with a new trailer purchase, you are given a thousand trails membership. ||||A coin-operated washing machine and dryer would also be a great addition. I have the ability based on my membership that I can stay up to 21 days. I can't pack that many clothes! ||||The two bathrooms are inadequate. There is no way, on a full weekend, that this can support 27 campsites, averaging 5 people per site on the low end of the spectrum|||| So quick math =135 people, plus guests. The two toilets are with the showers, so, if someone is taking a Hollywood shower, and you have to use the toilet, I sure hope you can hold it. During the busiest times, portable toilets are put in, however, now we run into shower problems. A 20 minute time limit should be imposed, perhaps install a timer so the water shuts off at the mark, whereas people may not realize they have been showering for an hour. ||The campground itself is very dark, you will need a flashlight for sure. The biggest thing is watch your speed. FIVE miles an hour or Mark will find you. At 6 1/2 feet tall, you dont want to be on the receiving end of his lecture. I know from experience, this is how I met Mark, the camp host, and Connie, which I now consider to not only be great friends, but more of a part of my small family. I was overjoyed when I found out that they were not leaving, and was reconsidering my camping choices, but trust me, you will love this place. ||||Please, although small, this is a gem of a find. Mark and Connie, you should be recognized for your hard work and showing the true side of what thousand trails parks should strive to become.

This campground has great private bathrooms. It's honestly their highlight. The lodge has WiFi as well. And a soda machine. They offer ice and ice cream for sale. There are basketball hoops and nice green grassy areas for dogs. The sites are very tight and close together however. I watched multiple people scratch up their rigs getting in and out from the low hanging trees. The sites are not very level either. And most won't fit bigger rigs. There is NO DUMP here. Not even just at each site, but for the entire park. It's honestly the biggest thing this park needs.

Friday Creek is one of our families favorite RV Campgrounds the host Mark and Connie are by far one of the nicest gracious helpful hosts we’ve had the pleasure of meeting. The park is small but definitely a secret hidden jewel. Quite except for the car race track down the road on Friday and Saturday nights. One feels like at this park a truly awesome experience of being in the woods. |It would be nice to have laundry facilities and a coded gate a lot of looky lue’s come thru kicking up dust. |We look forward every summer for Friday Creek to open unfortunately it’s closed in the winter.
