When a business owner shows that they trust and respect you, and are equally interested in best serving your needs in a honest manner, then you can only naturally reciprocate that. From first contact to the moment I drove away in my new vehicle, I felt comfortable and confident that I was making the right decision with Tommy of Friesen Motorsports. You will secure the deal you desire, if you give him the business he deserves. Yet you should still be careful, as with any other possible life-changing decisions, as buying or financing a vehicle is.
It should be mentioned that within the first 1,000 miles I drove after I bought this vehicle, the alternator, serpentine belt, car battery, and starter all went bad (some simultaneously, some at different times), and I had to get it towed off or left disabled a couple times, until I could take care of repairs and parts replacements. Turns out, there were several issues I didn't recognize when buying the car, such as an engine coolant leak, and all that cost me about $3,000 on top of what I paid for the vehicle. While I obviously can't claim whether the dealer or the previous owner (it was a trade-in) were aware of any such issues, it remains unfortunate and I advise exercising caution. Be sure to thoroughly check over any vehicle you may buy. The service history checked out, and the car did run great while it was used for the test drive and a long weekend road-trip. It's fun, comfortable, and I'm sure it'll last me a great while, following all these repairs.
That said, I do still feel like I was treated the way a customer should be, it's just unfortunate this happened to me way before the distant timeframe I had anticipated needing repairs (it's an older vehicle with higher mileage, so it's sensible this occurred). Anyways, good luck to any car shoppers out there. There are a lot of choices to pick from when hunting for your new ride, and I do recommend buying with Friesen if you want a seamless sale with a great guy, but just be careful about what you're looking for in a vehicle, and make sure you know what you're getting into, so you're not surprised like I was.
