I’ve been with Front Street Clinic, specifically ARNP Kim Young Oak, for nearly two years. The clinic and Aprn. Oak have been absolutely wonderful to work with. I’ve felt very supported and heard, I feel they actually care about my well-being. Aprn. Oak has spent time getting to know me and worked with me to find the best medications for my needs, leading me to be the happy and healthy person I am today, which is a far cry from the anxiety ridden and depressed woman I was when we first met. (I was afraid of trees and clouds, in the PNW for crying out loud. Torture!) Thank you both to the staff and Mrs. Oak, I appreciate you!
For the past month, despite sending several emails and leaving several messages with the front desk, I have not been contacted by my provider at Front Street. At the time of this review, I had been her patient for 21 months. Follow up: My provider's staff called me back (1 day after posting review) and are fitting me in to see her today. Updating review from 1 to 2 stars. Follow up after the same day appointment: Kim Young Oak started the appointment by saying they don't normally see patients that leave low reviews. I emphasized that I only included facts in the review, and she said I didn't have all the facts, that she received my emails and phone messages and did ask her staff to contact me, but it slipped thru the cracks. She apologized, which I appreciate. She then said posting a negative review is not the way to get ahold of her (though ironically, my petty review is what spurred her to reach out to me in less than 24 hours), and that I should have called the front desk and demanded to speak with her instead. Then, she said, I could've yelled at her privately, which she said she would've preferred over a negative review online.
We continued with our appointment, and she told me the steps I need to take to get the assistance that I requested in my emails and phone calls. Thank you, Kim.
She ended the appointment by asking if I'd like to continue seeing her. I said no, and she said that's good. She then superbly matched my level of petty by holding up a printed copy of my Google review, letting me know that I have refills on my meds for a couple more months, and saying that I should move on to someone who can provide me with 4 or 5 star care. I couldn't agree more ;)
