I enjoy going to the Frye Art Museum. It is free but the parking is a little difficult since it is street parking. They have a large collection of European paintings. Their special exhibitions are often lesser known artists. I love the shop, but it was closed the last time I was there for some unknown reason. The last time I got a necklace from them it broke almost immediately. Overall, this is a great Seattle gem. It took me about 40 minutes to go through the museum. If you are reading everything it might take over 2 hours.

Although the delivery area was a bit difficult to back into due to the constant traffic on the street, the staff were fantastic! Efficient and pleasant.

I come here several times a year because they change their exhibits quite often, so there is always something new to look at. They showcase both contemporary and classic artworks, and they also feature a lot of local (Pacific Northwest) artists. My favorite artworks are classical paintings of livestock, specifically cows. This museum has like a dozen cow paintings and I love it.
