One of the first breweries in Hood River their name fits what people come here for, windsurfing. The brewery is up on the hill above the waterfront. There is indoor and outdoor seating with great views. Being outdoors though gets noisy, between the trains and the freeway it can get annoying.
We enjoyed the beer selection and they had some dark beers on tap. The warm pretzel sticks are incredible. Service is fast, Staff is friendly. There was lots of street parking nearby.
We stopped by while we were in town and I'm glad we did! Service was quick, drinks were cold, place was clean and the view was nice.
We had already eaten before coming so I can't say much about their food but the fries were good!
We went on a Wednesday and it wasn’t packed! Enjoyed a few rounds of beers - IPAs - the slipknot, hop pursuit, and soft landing. We ordered delicious Shepard pie and a portobello sandwich thing. My wife liked it but I hate mushrooms so no pictures.
Great views, very friendly staff, awesome facilities. They have awesome merch, good variety on the menu, and the deserts are awesome.
Restrooms are nice clean. It’s been a few years since I’ve been here and it’s still super awesome and clean.
