Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience with Tapp Label in Beaverton, Oregon. I had been using this printer for eight year, through it's iterations as LabelOne and Adams Label, all great experiences, both in terms of quality of work and customer service. In the year or so since Tapp has acquired the operation, everything has been a struggle, but it all boils down to very poor communication and customer service. For my last label printing with them, in November 2015 I provided the detailed information on each of the labels to be printed for my February 2016 bottling and didn't receive my order confirmation and price quote until a week and a half before the press check in late January. The quote was over 40% higher (on a per label basis) than a highly comparable print run the year prior, very similar in the number of labels, type of printing (offset), designs and sizes of labels, etc. Obviously, it was too late for me to find another printer. After considerable back and forth, we got the quote down to 24% over the prior similar printing, but it was a painful process during which I wasn't dealt with honestly or fairly. The whole experience felt punitive, with my not being a valued long-time customer, but one to be squeezed for as much as possible.
