I went here 2 days ago I spoke to the employe about how I bought an external hard drive for my ps5 and it would store the games but I couldn’t play them. I asked for recommendations on a hard drive that can store and play ps5 games. They recommended a seagate PlayStation external hard drive. They said it was ps5 compatible and it will work. I bought it for $100 dollars. I took it home and hooked it up and then this hard drive had the same issue I told them I didn’t want to happen. I retuned not even 2 hours later and told them what happened and if I could just exchange it for an internal one. The employee told me no that obviously it’s open and they don’t do returns on opened products. I told him I bought it due to their recommendation he then again told me sorry i can’t return it. I told him it was a bit frustrating because I bought it because they told me it was gonna work. He then said “yeah it is frustrating” that’s it he said nothing else. I just walked out and called the GameStop next to target they exchanged it no issues and I even spent more money and renewed my GameStop membership.
