Called into the store soon as they opened this morning to inquire about the availability of a PlayStation Portal device. A male answered the phone and told me that he had some available to which I then asked "How many do you currently have in stock?" to which he replied "We're not allowed to say how many are currently on hand because the PlayStation Portal is a hot ticket item however we do have a healthy amount available right now." Not only was I hugely weirded out by that answer but when I called the Coquitlam GameStop, they told me that they only had 1 in stock… so why is it that the other store can tell me exactly how many Portals they have on hand when YOU GUYS CAN'T?? It makes no sense. Also, I do believe that the person I was speaking to was lying to me because when I go to order this item online on the GameStop website, it says that stock availability is low yet I was told that the Surrey location has a "healthy" amount on hand. Yeah, ok. Not only that but the guy on the phone seemed extremely lazy, mostly only giving 1 word answers. He seemed very disinterested in speaking with me for some reason. I also don't appreciate being lied to either. And when I explained what happened when I tried to place an order for a PS Portal on the GameStop website from the Coquitlam location and the device sold out RIGHT BEFORE I was able to finalize my online order, the Portal sold out. And the man I spoke to on the phone didn't even bother to show any sympathy or care towards the situation. He completely disregarded it and didn't even bother to comment on it which I thought was rude. At least I know where not to buy video game related things from anymore. Hire more professional and more friendly staff. The girl from the Coquitlam location was MUCH more pleasant to deal with.

Very nice store. Friendly staff! Good selection. Staff even offered to look into ordering the next release in the series from the brand I was purchasing! Nice when the staff are knowledgeable and actually able to assist you with making purchase or considering a future purchase. Thank you Gamestop Team! I highly recommend visiting this store and their excellent staff!

worst costumer service ever our first time at this store was a total letdown and we will not be returning. Samantha's or Sam’s customer service was incredibly rude it seemed like she didn't want to help us at all and even yelled at us in the store. It would be better for the store if they could focus on training their employees in customer service skills since they seem to be lacking on that part.
