Preordered a game with early access..asked the associate specifically if the game would be available for pick up that date. I was assured it would be (of course, anything to get my 100+ bucks in the till) Fast forward to early access release date: my game is not there. Shipping is blamed and I’m told to come back the next day. Next day- same story. 3rd day after release, I’m assured it will be in the next day because that is the official release date for my game. 4th day (official release date) - 11am, no game. Told to come back later after fedex drops off their shipment. 430pm I check the store again. STILL NO GAME. And to top of off, I’m informed there’s nothing they can do and to check back Monday!!! No thanks, I’ll cancel and pick it up across the street at Target.
Never giving a dime to gamestop again after this experience.
