This is a very convenient location to the entrance to the National Park but that is all that it is. Dirty, old carpet. Very dark, dimly lit room. We ended up having mice in our room that managed to get into garbage and kept us up. Hard to believe they can get $300+ for a room like this. There aren't a lot of choices around here but would shop around.

Quaint little place right outside of the national park. While the inside was dated, that actually added to the fun of the experience of staying at an inn so deep amongst the trees. The staff were super friendly and amenable. If you’re staying I. the rooms, rather than the individual cabins, you can enjoy a large back porch which is peaceful to enjoy wine on after a long day of hiking.

We loved the cabin, it was clean and newly remodeled (or brand new). The beds had comfortable mattresses, AC, heat, refrigerator, TV etc. Gateway is in an ideal location, literally feet from Mount Rainier's entrance. The service was good, free ice bags for our ice chest 😄 Also, the units were set back from the road and after dark it was quiet.
