Victor Bene Bakery inside Gilson's . . . Inside the store, I visit and window-shop at the Victor Bene Bakery, and I must say, his work is truly the best. He has provided services for our family's weddings, birthdays, and holidays for the past 30 years. I can vouch for his baking skills and the quality of his goods. The aroma of freshly baked cakes and pastries are irresistible, and I always buy a few items for my family to enjoy, especially the Mexican cookies. If you're ever in area, I strongly recommend checking out the Victor Bene Bakery inside Gilson's, the front corner.
Gilson's Dana Point--Monarch Beach Plaza. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they opened another register when there were more than two people in line. It was a nice gesture from the management, making the checkout process quicker for everyone. The store itself has a great selection of high-end ice cream, which makes visiting the ice cream enjoyable. I cannot resist the temptation and buy a pint of my favorite flavor. Moreover, every time I go there, it seems to get better. The store keeps their shelves well-stocked and organized.
We went to Gelson's to purchase fresh fish and your butchers and checkout staff are always so accommodating & friendly. Also, the store is always so clean and well organized. We also had a wonderful conversation with Jeffrey, in the wine department. He is a gem and we really enjoyed speaking with him. Truly knowledgeable and helpful lad!
