Area is kept up by City of Renton so is clean providing you don't count the bird poop! Lots of ducks and geese littering the grounds!

I love this place. it's a great place to go and watch the sun set. have a picnic or do water activities. It can be super crowded on decent/ sunny Seattle days but it's still a great little space to unwind.

This park is amazing for walking along Lake Washington and seeing wildlife, specifically birds.

Many complaint about the no dogs rule, but it is there to protect and not scare away the birds. If dogs are in the park then the birds will not raise their young there.

Bonus note: if you walk to the north end of the park you can see Mr. Rainier on a clear day!
