We purchased our first RV new in 2016, a class C Jayco Melbourne 24L, built on the diesel Sprinter 3500 chassis. It was a significant investment (which we have really enjoyed), and after a few disappointing customer service experiences from the dealer, after it came out from under warranty we decided to give our service business to Genesis.
The team there has consistently done a great and pro-active job keeping our RV in top condition. But it's a recent "above and beyond" experience that proved to me the value of having Genesis on our side.
We were on a coast-to-coast tour and as we neared our destination in Pennsylvania, through a moment of tired confusion at a BP station (which uses green handles for diesel when everyone else in the nation uses them for diesel) I accidentally put 4 gallons of regular fuel in my diesel tank. I had no idea what to do and didn't want to risk starting the engine. It was late on a weekend and the phone at Genesis went to an after-hours message. The owner, Brian, formerly attended our church, so I called a mutual friend who shared Brian's personal cellphone. Desperate, I called it, half expecting another answering machine message. But Brian himself answered, and immediately set out to give me guidance on exactly what I needed to do. He also asked me to call him back to let him know how it worked out.
After following his instructions, we were relieved to make it safely to our destination in Pennsylvania. I'll be forever grateful for Brian's calm and reassuring instructions, as well as the expert attention of all he employs at Genesis.
Don't use this company. They don't stand by their work. But they will call you and tell you they will, and also before hanging up let you know everything you said was recorded. Go to Camping World if you are in Tacoma. They are ok, but not shady.
First of all I have been in a class A motor home for over 3 years now and have traveled from Tennessee and all states in the West. I have NEVER found an RV Repair Service as good at Genesis Automotive. I had some issues on my Winnebago Journey that needed to be corrected and the repairs were done quickly, they allowed me to stay on premise while the parts came and the invoice amount for those repairs was extremely fair. I HIGHLY recommend Genesis. They will do a fantastic job for you, and their tech reps are very well trained. Brian and Lisa I will be back on my way South. Thanks again for treating me so well. We made it to Whidbey by 7PM average MPH was 28...LOL
UPDATE 09/03/2019 Well the team at Genesis did it again, what a great bunch of folks to work with. They installed a brand new convection oven and new door lock on my coach. It is amazing! Thanks Genesis for all your hard work! This time the trip to Whidbey was a quick 1 1/2 hours YAY!
