We were craving for authentic Italian gelato and we found GIO Gelati San Francisco. It was delicious. The owner Guido from Pesaro is so nice and friendly. We spent $26 for 4 cones 1 flavour each. They also have vegan option and offer espresso, cappuccino and more.

Extremely good gelato with great flavor, wonderful smooth texture with a good collection of 20 flavors (8 vegan), free sampling, good portions and decent prices. They have both indoor and outdoor seating ( and plant based degradable spoons)
We had the capriccio (hazelnut chocolate) and vegan dark chocolate (both exceptional and favorites), milk & figs and vanilla orange (both quite interesting flavors) and the raspberry sorbet (top seller) and kiwi sorbet (first time and it is okay).
The best gelato in SF!
This place is amazing, natural, and flavorful Gelato, with nuts os pistachios on top.
