I was a little nervous after reading some of the reviews but the service and experience I had here was 10/10. The services are solid, the facilities are clean (including the outdoor pools) and the staff is extremely friendly. I agree it is spendy but I felt pampered and relaxed and had a great experience.

Used to love coming here. Nowadays, it's just a 'like' due to no longer really enforcing the 'silent sanctuary' rule. I just find it hard to relax when theres a lot of chatter from other patrons. Otherwise, excellent massages and pleasantly secluded soaking pools at 3 different temps.

I’d like to say upfront that the staff at the spa were so lovely. Very kind, helpful, and welcoming. They were great to work with and I really appreciated their professionalism. Unfortunately, that’s where my good reviews of Glade Spring Spa end. I am not sure if it’s an issue of still recovering from the pandemic, but I do not think this spa is worth the money or hype. Pictures and reviews online suggest mineral pools, saunas, and steam rooms among the beautiful setting of Suncadia. What I found was a women’s restroom that smelled slightly of sewage, dirty floors (because the outside areas where the sauna and “mineral pools” are located were not kept tidy from pine needles and leaves), a shower that went cold half way through, a steam room in the women’s bathroom with a lazy towel thrown on the floor to mop up the moisture, eucalyptus oil for the steam room in an industrial cleaning spray bottle, the one plunge pool at the spa out of order, and two “mineral pools” only big enough for six, which were nothing more than glorified hot tubs. The sanctuary room was nothing more than a lounge, with fireplaces that weren’t on despite attending the spa in the winter. I’ve been to spas with large swimming pools, various temperature hot pools, indoor and outdoor pools, jet hot tubs, sauna and steam rooms with various smells and lighting to make you feel truly spoiled, for less money than this. On top of that, there was an awkward experience at the end where the system “automatically adds” a 20% tip your bill, and I had to work with the representative out loud in front of other customers in the room to adjust my bill to a tip amount I felt appropriate for an unwind pass (no treatment). I think this place could be great with some upgrades and better attention to detail by management. Personally, I will not be returning.
