After moving back to Yakima for work, my partner and I stopped in to Glenmoor Green on a whim since he had lived here in the past and said it was a great place to live at the time. We were shocked that everything on our wishlist was met - west side of Yakima, Washer/Dryer hookups, allowed pets. Better yet, it was also a single story unit (no neighbors above or below). The application process is long as some reviews have mentioned, yes, they do ask for a lot of info and they are thorough about checking it all too, but it was honestly worth it.

Only a month after moving in one of our cats lost his fight with a condition he'd had for a long time and the Glenmoor staff were very kind and understanding, immediately reducing our pet rent to reflect us now only having one cat instead of two.

The grounds are gorgeous and so well maintained - it's green, lush and shady. Our apartment had new flooring and blinds. While our appliances are a little older (and louder) they're all in perfect working condition. Even our countertops had been refinished/updated.

The location of the apartments themselves are in a nice area of town, it feels safe, surrounded by tons of restaurant choices and aside from peak hour traffic along Tieton, it's also very quiet.
