I never really go into GNC to purchase my supplements but recently shifted my workout routine and was in need of some information. I was in the area and figured, what the heck maybe someone in there knows what I am looking for or something a bit better.
When I got in it was not like the last GNC I had been in in LA where nobody greeted me or came to help me, instead I was immediately greeted by a younger woman. I believe her name was Rachel or Rachelle. I am not sure if she was a supervisor or not but she should be) I let her know about what I was looking for and was thinking that I was just going to be pointed in the right direction. Boy was I wrong.
R as we will now call her. :) Asked me what my new regiment entailed as well as what my normal diet was like. I learned a lot about what I should be doing as opposed to just sticking to the minimum that I had planned. I ended up getting a better preworkout that wont make my face tingly anymore and I can tell you that after using it for over a week she was right. I feel great and the energy feels natural. On top of that I am feeling much better digestively too. She highly recommended a probiotic and I had never taken one. I am on one now and it seems to be doing me good.
So if you head into the Hueneme GNC feel free to ask for R :) She knows what she is doing and has the best customer service I have experienced in years out here. Also, she let me know that I can have my stuff automatically delivered to my place and since I am not in Heuneme too often its a real time saver.
So thank you again GNC for keeping someone on the staff that is attentive, knowledgeable, and keeps the place clean. And thank you again R.
Was Closed 20 minutes early last time I went. And the time before the staff was not too polite and had no knowledge of the stuff they sold whatsoever.
Update: swung by at 1:00 in the afternoon to grab an energy drink. The open sign illuminated and lights on but a loose leaf paper tapped to the door said they wouldn't be open for 40 minutes and the door locked in the middle of the day. Guy was in the back of the store the whole time. Management needs to clean house.
