Owner, if you're reading this, please get rid of your manager, Just visited today for the first time at 2:00,
This man not in uniform stood really close to me and my son, I didn't even realize he worked there until he started lecturing my son.
then he proceeded to stock the shelf as we were trying to shop and pick one toy.
He started organizing everything that my son was touching, right in front of us
Why can't you organize the shelves or stock the shelves during the week when no one's shopping? Why are you doing this on Sunday?
we left without buying anything. I understand that the kids can be wild and messy, but if you don't like children then shouldn't work at a toy store.
Wait for them to buy the toys that they want. Then clean the shelf, it's a win-win for everybody.
This is the real reason why parents buy toys on Amazon and we don't go to toy stores anymore. Never coming here again.
Update : after reading other people's reviews, I realize other people had similar experiences and I realized it could have been much worse, maybe he was restraining himself? He did not ask us to leave, and he did not yell at my son. I was the one that asked him to please leave us alone.
I just didn't appreciate how close he was standing to us and how his body language was signifying he didn't want us there.
Tact is the art of making a point without making an enemy, if you don't want children to touch the toys. Introduce yourself as people are coming in and explain to them the expectation, or create signage, do not wait for an altercation
Was looking for a new game. The store had a great selection. Super impressed by the service in the store, particularly when it was fairly busy and kids were not well attended and allowed to treat staff and merchandise with disregard. I was impressed with the amount of attitude from other customers the sales person had to manage and monitor in the time I was in the store. Retail is rough. I worked retail and can totally feel appreciative of good service when in those situations
