I had the best experience in this store just yesterday! I'm a Funko Pop! Action Figure Collector. I was in the store kind of cruising through, on the chase for a "chase" (Don't judge my humor)! I was yet again thwarted with only commons. But don't get me wrong. These guys have an awesome collection of Funko Figures and Nerd collectibles!
All of a sudden I hear the word "Chase" come from the stock room, followed by a young man carrying a Pop! box with him to the check out counter. I immediately made eye contact with this man and asked him if it happened to be a Star Lord Chase from the upcoming Film. He was taken a back a little bit that I had heard him from so far away. He seemed really excited that he had found one and I believe he was about to purchase it for him, or a collector in his own life.
When I asked if he got first dibs on the action figure, He didn't even think twice and handed the pop right on over to me. This was my First ever Chase i've found in the wild, so I was pretty breathless at this point due to my excitement. He then introduced himself as Dalnacio and that he was the General Manager of the store. Dalnacio & Jenny then proceeded to talk with me about their favorite toys, shows, and Pops! in their own lives and I really felt that I connected with these awesome people!
They made my day and I'll never forget them for that! I will be coming to this store more often due to their politeness and generosity! Thank you both and I look forward to returning!
